So many great resources, opportunities and inspiration on the internet this week!
A Great Cause: Do you ever feel like there are so many needs in the world and you don’t know where to start helping? Sometimes I feel paralyzed, rather than empowered by all the opportunities. But I’ve been learning to open my eyes to the people and needs God puts on my heart, and give without hesitation. One of those is this school in Kenya that Annie Downs is raising money for, through the Mocha Club. And the bonus?!? With a small donation, you have a chance to go to Kenya with Annie, for free! Check it out here.
Online Classes: I’m so excited about the classes we are offering on The Influence Network this month. Everything from the Basics of Publishing, to Lent, to an Old Testament overview – so much to encourage and equip you to pursue God and the passions He’s given you. And as always, classes are online, cheap (only $10!), and the recording can be watched at anytime. Check ’em out.
Practical Goal Setting Resources: I’ve been working through Lara Casey’s Powersheets and they are really helping me to hone in on God’s big dreams for my life and how to take those dreams and work them out in my day to day. Love that Lara. You can find them here.
Inspiration for Dreamers: I’m loving this new blog, Concrete & Cloud, put together by my friend Meghan and her friend Dave. They are creating “a community of people deciding to be both dreamers and doers, to work really, really hard, and to make the world a better place as we go.” I love the heart behind what they’re doing and feel inspired already. Check out their first post here.
Yummy recipes: This recipe for homemade granola is SO good. You can substitute the butter and sugar with coconut oil and honey/agave if you want, and use any variety and nuts, seeds and dried fruit you have on hand. Easy to make and the perfect snack with some greek yogurt and fruit.
