The other day a former teacher of mine sent me an email asking me to speak online to one of his classes. Initially I wanted to do it, but wasn’t sure about how much time it would take or what exactly he needed from me to make it happen. 

In the past I would have left this email unanswered, thinking that avoiding it would save me time. 

But now I know that un-made decisions are a drain on my creativity and energy. Not responding to his email might save me time in the moment, but I knew it it would cost me brain space in the long run.
