My Personal Mission Statement

I’m a truth-teller.  Sometimes this gets me into trouble but I won’t stop.

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and that through this Spirit we have direct access to the Father.

I believe in hearing God’s voice directly, not just through a great pastor or teacher, but  straight from His heart to mine.

I speak and write because God put two words on my heart over 7 years ago –

Dream Big.

Ephesians 3:20 is my inspiration – to live my big dream and encourage others to do the same.

I blog because it’s a way of getting this message out, of encouraging and equipping others to not settle for less than God’s BEST.

I am a wife and a mother and so naturally I write about these relationships,

from the perspective of how to live out these relationships abundantly

to experience them to the fullest!

My mission is to speak and write and share this message with teenagers, with young adults, with women and anyone who God’s leads me to.

I will always seek to love the orphan and the widow– not just in word, but in deed.

This is my mission – why I speak, why I write, why I blog,

This is why.

Do you have a personal mission statement?

  3. This left me speechless….you are such a beautiful woman of Christ and your faith is evident in all that you do! One of my best friends is a recent widow and it’s been so hard to watch her go through this devastating loss….any words of wisdom to share?

  4. I love that you live by a mission statement… I need to develop one; I too try to be a “truth teller”… I love honesty and honest people.

PS – I cannot believe how much hair your baby has! it’s ridiculous, RIDICULOUSLY cute!!

  5. Hi Heather,
Thank you for your witness. As author of Dreaming Big, along with Bobb Biehl, I identify with the importance of having a life mission or as we call it, a Life Dream.
God’s best to you and your family.
