God promises a peace that passes all understanding, yet these days are often filled with frustration, exhaustion and unrest in my spirit. This week I want to walk in His peace. I want to find a way in the midst of my toddler getting into EV-ER-Y THING and my baby girl crying because she’s sick again, to tap into His perfect peace.
Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.”
I trust God, but in those moments, sometimes in those moments I just react. My mind wanders away from the truth and peace seems far off.
My friends, I don’t have the answers. But I do have the truth of God’s word and know that when we fix our minds on God, on His goodness, and His strength, there is a peace that follows. This week I’m seeking His peace and praying you find it as well. Don’t give up, dear one. Keep laying the mess at His feet and trusting He will trade you peace for despair.
AMEN!
