We Will Wait: An Advent Devotional Guide

November 15th is the release date of a special Christmas treat for you and yours! We Will Wait (revised edition) is a resource for you to prepare your heart this advent season, by guiding you through scriptures related to the advent themes.

We Will Wait: An Advent Devotional Guide includes:

The full Bible text of each day’s reading in the NIV (feel free to read from your own Bible, if you’d prefer another translation.)

A devotional thought related to the day’s verses. (NEW from last year!)

Several questions for reflection. These questions can be answered on your own, in a journal or in conversation with your spouse, children, or friends. Each question helps to highlight the key advent themes and apply them to your life in practical ways.

An introduction to each weeks’ theme. This introduction will elaborate on the theme, highlighting how it relates to the story of Christ’s birth.

Four 8×11 prints, one for each of the four themes highlighted in this devotional (hope, peace, joy and love). These prints can be downloaded and printed to display in your home this Christmas, and for many to come. The prints were lovingly designed by Alison Dyck of Arae Design Co. (

You are welcome to print this PDF booklet out for your own personal use only. Please print the book in it’s entirety, text/images not altered. To use the devotional outside of the family (church settings, etc.,) please contact me.

  1. A couple of days ago I was asking myself: “What can we do to get focused on the true meaning of Christmas and not get overwhelmed by the secular commercialism and “busy-ness” of the Christmas Season?” Well God was listening…..I heard your talk on CHVN radio and thought that “We Will Wait” could be a great guide. Bought a copy and looking forward to digging in!
